My Acer Predator Helios Neo gaming performance is disappointing.+

Plug in the charger (it throttles on battery), open PredatorSense and set a Turbo/Performance thermal mode and the GPU/MUX mode to discrete where available, and make sure games use the NVIDIA GPU (Windows Graphics settings / NVIDIA panel) rather than the integrated graphics. Update the NVIDIA driver. Plugged in, discrete GPU, Turbo profile, current drivers is the combination for full frame rates; on battery or the iGPU, performance is intentionally limited.
