How far apart can I place my Orbi 960 units?+
Place each satellite within good wireless backhaul range of the router or the previous node — roughly one to two rooms away, not at the far end of the house through several walls, or the backhaul weakens and clients on that satellite slow down. The Orbi app shows each satellite's connection quality; aim for 'good' or better. For maximum performance, connect satellites by Ethernet (wired backhaul), which removes the distance limit.
