Which units this covers, and how to tell yours is one of them
Every answer below is scoped to these model identifiers. A neighbouring model in the same line can use a different part, a different reset sequence or a different radio, so matching the identifier before following a procedure is the step that decides whether the rest of the page applies to you.

What is true of this model and changes how you fix it
These are the properties that decide which procedure applies. Each is read from the manufacturer’s own published figures for this model, not carried over from a sibling that shares its retail name.
- Panel — Mini-LED LCD
- Neo QLED Mini-LED LCD with Quantum Matrix dimming — a backlight, so blooming/halo around bright objects and raised dark-room blacks are normal LCD behaviour, not a fault.
- One Connect box
- The QN95D's defining feature: ALL inputs live on a separate One Connect box that reaches the TV over a single thin cable, not on the panel. A 'no signal', HDMI or ARC problem is diagnosed at the box — check the source and the One Connect cable there first, not the back of the TV, which has no inputs of its own.
- No Dolby Vision
- HDR10, HDR10+ and HLG only — no Dolby Vision, like all Samsung TVs. A Dolby Vision title falls back to HDR10+; that is by design.
- Smart platform / gaming
- Tizen with Smart Hub, Gaming Hub and Game Bar. Four HDMI 2.1 (on the One Connect box) with 4K 144 Hz, VRR (FreeSync Premium Pro) and ALLM. Update at Settings › Support › Software Update; screen share via Smart View and AirPlay 2.

Questions that only have an answer for the Samsung QN95D Neo QLED 4K TV
Each answer below uses this model’s own published figures. The same question asked about a different model in the line has a different answer, which is why it is answered here rather than on a general page.
My Samsung QN95D shows no signal but the cable is fine.+
On the QN95D every input is on the separate One Connect box, not the TV — the panel has no HDMI ports of its own. Confirm the source is plugged into the One Connect box, and that the single One Connect cable between the box and the TV is fully seated at both ends. A signal fault here is almost always the box or that cable, not the panel.
