- In Art Mode the panel drops from its normal refresh to about 60 Hz to save power and reduce burn-in risk while displaying art. Motion or brightness that looks different in Art Mode versus TV mode is this dynamic-refresh behaviour, not a fault. The Slim Fit wall mount and the matte finish are the point of the product.

Why does my Samsung Frame TV look dimmer or different in Art Mode?+
In Art Mode The Frame deliberately lowers its refresh rate (to around 60 Hz) and adjusts brightness with its light sensor to display artwork efficiently and reduce burn-in — so it looks different from full TV mode. That is intended behaviour. The matte anti-glare screen also lifts apparent black levels compared with a glossy TV, which is part of the art-on-the-wall design rather than a fault.
