The Action button on my Apple Watch Ultra 2 isn't doing what I want.+
The orange Action button is programmable — assign it in Settings › Action Button to a workout, stopwatch, waypoint, flashlight, dive, or a Shortcut, and set a secondary press action. So if it is not doing what you expect, it is likely assigned to a different action, not broken. During a workout it can also mark laps/segments. It is unique to the Ultra models; standard Apple Watches do not have it.
