Every answer below is scoped to these model identifiers. A neighbouring model in the same line can use a different part, a different reset sequence or a different radio, so matching the identifier before following a procedure is the step that decides whether the rest of the page applies to you.

What is true of this model and changes how you fix it
These are the properties that decide which procedure applies. Each is read from the manufacturer’s own published figures for this model, not carried over from a sibling that shares its retail name.
- Type — Wi-Fi 7 ACCESS POINT (not a router)
- The U7 Pro is a UniFi Wi-Fi 7 (BE) ACCESS POINT — it broadcasts Wi-Fi but does NOT do routing, NAT or DHCP; it must connect to a UniFi gateway/router (and a PoE source). So router-only symptoms (router setup, port forwarding, DNS, double-NAT) do not apply to it; it is the radio, not the router.
- PoE powered
- It is powered over Ethernet (PoE) from a UniFi switch or injector — an AP that will not power on is usually a PoE issue (no PoE, wrong standard, or the switch's power budget), not the AP.
- UniFi controller/app
- Adopted and managed in the UniFi Network application on the gateway. Wi-Fi settings (SSIDs, bands, channels) live there, not on the AP directly.

Questions that only have an answer for the Ubiquiti UniFi U7 Pro access point
Each answer below uses this model’s own published figures. The same question asked about a different model in the line has a different answer, which is why it is answered here rather than on a general page.
My UniFi U7 Pro access point won't power on.+
The U7 Pro is powered over Ethernet (PoE), so 'won't power on' is almost always the power source: it must be plugged into a PoE switch port or a PoE injector that supplies the correct PoE standard and enough wattage. Check the switch's PoE is enabled on that port and the switch has power budget left, and use a good Ethernet cable. It has no separate power adapter — the network cable powers it. Once powered, adopt it in the UniFi Network application.
